French Chef

Just watched some episodes on DVD I got from Netflix. "The Potato Show" is the first episode featured. Hilarious. Staples of the American diet in 1962: Cream, cheese, butter, eggs...in and on EVERYTHING! Including the floor. And we don't have to worry about calories because "potatoes have so few of them." I'm in stitches over here.

Ya gotta remember the history, too. This was an era where TV dinners were considered revolutionary cuisine.

Then again Ms. Childs never denounced butter, ever. And it turns out she was right-- trans-fat margarines are WORSE for you. All hail BUTTER!
